Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the lifecycle of the WMS system, including configuration, customization, and upgrades. Ensure seamless operation and optimal performance of the WMS across all facilities.
Team Leadership:

Manage, mentor, and develop a team of WMS Specialists, providing guidance and support to ensure effective system use and problem resolution. Conduct regular performance reviews and support professional development within the team.
Cross-functional Collaboration:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and configure the WMS system to align with operational goals. Work closely with the Supply Chain Product Head to integrate WMS strategies with overall supply chain initiatives.
Quality Assurance:

Conduct thorough testing of business flows to ensure quality delivery for production use. Develop and implement quality assurance processes to maintain high standards of system performance.
Support and Troubleshooting:

Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for geographically distributed Operations Managers regarding WMS system issues, ensuring timely resolution. Develop and maintain support documentation and training materials.
Operational Analysis and Optimization:

Analyze operational challenges and recommend solutions to improve efficiency within the fresh food distribution centers. Continuously monitor system performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement enhancements to maximize productivity and accuracy.
Data Management and Reporting:

Develop and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures for reporting and data analysis purposes. Generate regular performance reports and provide insights to support decision-making.

Requirements:

6-9 years of experience in implementing, configuring, and supporting Warehouse Management Software solutions, preferably the modern WMS experience (Manhattan or blue yonder) Prior experience in managing and leading a team of technical specialists or analysts
