The Role Responsibilities

  • Business Banking (BB) provides a suite of Financing, Cash Management, Insurance, and Investment services to support the banking needs for SMEs in Singapore.
  • This is a People Leader role. The Segment team head will be responsible overseeing the BB Segment team in areas such as planning and executing NTB & ETB campaigns, developing and managing lead generation strategy, grow the funnel for NTB by sourcing leads through traditional and digital partnerships leads or leads purchase, promoting referral channels to drive new sales by client coverage and acquisition teams, designing and reviewing sales scorecards to incentivise the right behaviour, overseeing portfolio growth and tail management activities using data analytics, and participate in relevant improvement projects.
  • This role will report to Head of Business Banking and work with key stakeholders such as Relationship Managers, Client Acquisition Managers, Product Managers, Sales Coach, Middle Office team, Business Analyst and Strategic Business Information Management (SBIM) teams to deliver initiatives in a timely and effective manner.
Key Responsibilities Campaigns and Lead Generation
  • Engage Sales and Product Managers to design client and/or sales campaigns to drive NTB growth; and/or deepening and cross-sell campaigns for RM coverage / Portfolio managed clients to maximise PPC and Revenue per client.
  • Grow the funnel for NTB by generating leads from internal and external sources for Sales teams to call upon.
  • Be proficient with the use of RM Workbench, CRM, or CEMS to channel leads to Sales and track call performances
Marketing
  • Work with Sales, Product Managers and agencies to plan and execute marketing initiatives on both traditional and digital platforms, as well as physical events
  • Manage marketing budgets, collaterals, and digital presence
  • Update calendar of initiatives and plan for EDM, web updates, digital presence
Referral Programmes
  • Administer the Member-Get-Member (\xe2\x80\x9cMGM\xe2\x80\x9d) programme and the Agent referral programme
  • Build and promote the bank\xe2\x80\x99s internal referral channels (e.g. WebPage, Call Centre, Private Banking/Priority Banking, BB Network initiative)
Scorecard Design
  • Design scorecard criteria and incentives to drive sales performances towards achieving BB & ME financial objectives
  • Coordinate all matters pertaining to scorecards with stakeholders to ensure correct action being driven
  • Implement, track, verify and review sales performances to ensure the scorecard remains effective
Portfolio and Tail Management
  • Support BB Head with regular MIS on revenue, returns, growth and other key operating metrics in line with budget and performance scorecards
  • Identify opportunities within the portfolio to maximise cross-sell, minimize client attrition and improve overall RWA efficiency
  • Manage the transfer of clients through ARM code retagging between BB RMs and mass market portfolio to align to BB\xe2\x80\x99s client servicing strategies
  • Drive tail management and propose upgrade / downgrades for portfolio managed / RM coverage clients
Projects and Client Experience
  • Own and improve the efficiency of client and leads management systems e.g CRM, WorkBench
  • Participate in cross product / cross segment projects that improves the delivery of BB client value propositions.
Our Ideal Candidate
  • Degree holder with 8 + years of experience in relevant banking experience
  • Is self-motivated, independent and a good team player. Having prior experiences of being a People Leader will be added advantage
  • Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated experiences of managing multiple stakeholders
  • Proficient in analyzing data to drive business performances.
  • Prior business banking experience in client coverage, product, or segment management will be an added advantage.
  • Proficient with MS Offices tools
