Job Description
The Healthcare Assistant support and assist the Staff Nurses and Enrolled Nurses in the delivery of nursing care to residents and help to maintain a clean, safe and comfortable environment for them.
- Attend to residents\xe2\x80\x99 needs and report their needs to the nurses.
- Ensure the safety, comfort and well-being of the residents.
- Assist in the transfer and positioning of non-ambulant residents.
- Assist in the conduct of daily exercises for the residents.
- Assist in serving meals and drinks, and feeding patients.
- Assist the nurses in nursing care, including bathing and diaper change.
- Alert nurses to any emergency siutations in the ward.
- Accompany patients to hopsitals/polyclinic for follow-up appointments and TCU.
- Work with nurses to maintain a safe and clean environment in the nursing home.
- Carries out any other duties assigned by the nurses.
Job Requirements
- Min WSQ in Healthcare or equivalent qualification
- Able to perform rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays
- Must be fully vaccinated with COVID-19 vaccinations
