We are looking for a PMO expert to act as the primary PMO for a Refinement Forum within the Risk & CFCC QPR Portfolio. Responsible for ongoing operational support, proactive leadership to optimise delivery team cadence and onboarding of BAU activities into the Ways of Working methodology.
The candidate must therefore demonstrate an understanding of traditional PMO / Business Management disciplines in addition to being able to quickly assimilate an understanding of strategic and business drivers. They will be required to proactively identify and drive through meaningful improvements to the way work is identified, prioritised and delivered. Supported by expert communication and presentation skills.
Strategy
Assist in identification and onboarding of relevant Audit, Elevated Risk, Business change activity into Hive Backlogs
Educates and implements standard controls for Hive OKR tracking and reporting.
Ensuring new business cases are well articulated against strategic objectives / OKRs
Own communications plan for the Hive, periodically providing communications through the lens of strategic delivery and OKRs.
Define and roll-out common workflow, tooling, process for backlog management to change and technology teams
Implement and draw insights from squad delivery metrics and provide proposal to the Refinement Forum
Processes
Facilitates and embeds Agile Maturity Assessment framework within Hives/Squads. Finding resolution or escalation of identified issues
Coordinate collation of materials and minutes for Refinement Forum and taking editor role to ensure information is of a high standard
Responsible for Hive financial management, budgeting, vendor payment tracking. Coordinate with offshore support teams to query information
Provide quarterly updates to QPR/MPR on business outcomes, ensuring language is non-technical and resonates with a broad stakeholder group
People & Talent
Maintains Hive resourcing and capacity plan
Actively coach Hive members on effective communication within the NWoW construct (i.e. business outcome centric)
Mentor and matrix manage offshore PMO support resources
Actively simplify and package PMO activities to be executed in the optimal location
Risk Management
Ensure Risks and Issues are updated on a regular basis. Take driving role in implementing robust Risk Management for the Hive
Ensure dependencies are identified, logged in JIRA and tracked to completion in JIRA. Including status updates to Refinement Forums and QPR/MPR as required
Ensure data quality for Risk Management is of a high standard (i.e. accurate impacts/mitigations)
Governance
Facilitates and embeds Agile Maturity Assessment framework within Hives/Squads. Finding resolution or escalation of identified issues
Implements and facilitates Hive retrospective sessions on a quarterly basis. Ensure actions are logged and resolved or escalated where necessary.
Ensures all change management policies and controls are met across the Hive and its initiatives incl. performance and escalation of control testing
Help and educate teams on governance processes (OR Policy, NWoW standards), ensure controls are met on an ongoing basis.
Facilitate creation of new initiatives, ensuring all information is complete and business case/outcomes are clear and linked to strategy/business plan
Educates Hive members on NWoW/Agile process and required inputs in JIRA. Implements ongoing data quality controls/reviews with contributors. Identifies and coaches to best practice.

Our Ideal Candidate
9+ years of experience in PMO disciplines (planning, reporting, risk management, QA, document management, financials, resource management, stage controls, stakeholder management and governance)
Financial and benefits management including managing budgeting cycles
Hands on experience with agile methodology, able to act as coach
Understanding of business risk / COO activities i.e. Risk remediation, audit liaison
Stakeholder management experience working with senior level stakeholders
Ability to aggregate detailed information in to consumable / narrated presentations for senior management. Agility to traverse detail levels for audience at hand.
Experience identifying opportunities, planning and executing process change to large teams.
Graduation in relevant discipline
