Interval International is a global leisure company with a network of over 3,200 resorts in over 80 countries and offers high quality accommodation and leisure products through its offices in 13 countries. The role will be based in our modern offices in Raffles Place, Singapore.

The Job

As a holiday advisor your primary responsibility will be to handle incoming calls from Interval International\'s Japanese membership base and fulfilling their holiday requirements through the promotion and selling of our leisure products. As well as servicing our Japanese membership base, you will also be servicing English speaking members. Responsibilities will include:

Identifying the \xe2\x80\x9choliday experience\xe2\x80\x9d required by our members and aligning availability to that experience, offering similar alternatives where necessary.

Promoting all company products and services to maximize sales opportunities.

Processing bookings.

The Person

To be successful in this role highly developed sales and customer service skills are a pre-requisite. In addition, you will have:

Japanese (mother tongue) and English language skills are essential.

Any other Asian language is desirable.

Good communication skills.

An excellent telephone manner.

First class influencing skills.

The ability to use multi-application software and reservations systems.

Sales and/or call centre experience; travel industry sector experience is desirable.

The Hours

40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Shift between the hours of 9.00am and 6.00pm

The Package

Salary: S$2,750 per month plus a S$800 per month language premium

Incentive: Circa S$1600 based on sales and targets being met with opportunity for 30% more through bonus targets being met.

Benefits: Free holiday accommodation*; medical insurance*; Enhanced holiday benefits which increases to 24 days per year with service.

*After probation as per prevailing policy.
