Job Description


Responsibilities

  • Assist the Head of Hotel in increase room occupancy and revenue
  • Develop lead sources and build rapport with key Industry Partners
  • Prepare sales and marketing tools to grow existing accounts and attain new accounts; Solicit group transient, corporate and/or event business through action plan preparation and execution
  • Exceed personal and team sales goals through account development and maintenance
  • Assist the Head of Hotel in scheduling effective sales calls and appointments within assigned markets
  • Establish parameters, quotes and negotiate prices, and confirm with written contracts
  • Analyse market information and competitive intelligence, understanding guest expectations to perform strategic positioning; Be aware of stay updated with market trends, and monitor the sales activities of competitors of the hotel
  • Assist to develop a marketing programme for the different market segments; develop and execute the sales plan formulated by the Hotel\'s overall sales and marketing strategy
  • Manage and ensure room reservation team is maximizing use of resources to penetrate new accounts and secure companies that are around the club
  • Carry out any other duties or special assignments as may be assigned by the Head of Hotel from time to time
Requirements
  • Minimum a Diploma preferably in Hotel management
  • At least 3 to 4 years working experience for the BDM (specialized in room sales) in Singapore hotel industry
  • Proficient in MS Office including Powerpoint
  • Highly responsible and reliable with strong problem-solving and organizational abilities
  • Must have strong passion and drive for sales
  • Able to work with all levels; Good leadership and interpersonal skills and ability to work independently as well as a team player
  • Open to Singaporean only
