Job Description


Job Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the smooth operations of the department, such as delegating work, communicating goals, and scheduling employees to ensure full coverage on the ground.
  • Manage the planning of work schedules and deployment of housekeeping manpower.
  • Promote teamwork and quality service within the team and coordination with the other departments.
  • Evaluate employee performance and work with Assistant Housekeeping Manager and Human Resource Team to provide staffing recommendations
  • Plan and select appropriate equipment/ technologies and supplies for projects.
  • Make adjustments to cleaning based on members\xe2\x80\x99 and employees\' feedback, complaints, and problem resolutions to achieve members\'/ employees\' satisfaction promptly.
  • Perform routine inspections to ensure cleanliness and conditions meet the club-designated standard and members\' satisfaction.
  • Follow through on all cleaning and defect rectification.
  • Assist with the training of housekeeping team members.
  • Ensure safety and health standards are maintained and orientate employees with a safety mindset
  • Assist in purchasing and managing housekeeping supplies, inventory, and expenses.
  • Assist in preparing tender specifications and quotations for housekeeping operations.
  • Assist with department administrative matters.
  • Put up incident reports and manage major incidents and emergencies in collaboration with relevant personnel.
  • Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
  • Degree / Diploma in relevant discipline with at least 3 years of supervisory experience in housekeeping / environmental services operations.
  • Prior experience in the golf club/ hospitality industry would be an advantage
  • Possess strong leadership and supervisory skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Sound planning, problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
  • Strong knowledge of housekeeping processes and procedures
  • Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Service-oriented, attention to detail and observant
