MDPI Singapore was established in February 2021, as the Asia-Pacific regional centre of the Multidisciplinary Digital Publishing Institute (MDPI), a pioneer publisher that focuses on open access journals. Taking advantage of Singapore as the global business and technology hub, the Singapore office will work closely with our offices in China, Tokyo and Thailand to develop further collaboration with the scientific community in the Asia-Pacific area.The HR Assistant position is a full-time role based in Singapore. Your main responsibility consist of recruitment and providing support to management.Responsibilities:

• Providing recruiting support such as reviewing resumes, conducting and scheduling interviews, hiring, and following up with candidates.
• Schedule and coordinate onboarding/offboarding sessions.
• Compile and process employee documentation and records, and keep the employee database up to date.
• Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues.
• Assist office manager with formulating policies, procedures, and changes, as well as communicating all updates to employees.
• Collaborate with insurance providers and other benefit vendors.
• Implement activities and programs to enhance the overall well-being of employees.

Requirements:

• Up to 1-2 years of working experience
• Diploma in Human Resource/ Business Admin and above
• Understanding of labor laws and regulations.
• Proficient in MS Office
• Fast paced working environment
• Responsible, meticulous, multi-tasker, self-initiative, resourceful, good team player

• You must have the right to work and live in Singapore
• This role is based in Singapore.
