We are looking for a proactive HR Assistant/Specialist Generalist who loves to take the initiative to join our regional team in SEA! The hired candidate will help create and implement 'magic' to support the business growth and for the team to function successfully. The magic ingredients include Onboarding & Offboarding, Compensation & Benefits, Employee Relations, Administration, and of course, your passion for HR.

REQUIREMENTS

  • We need you to have proven experience as an HR Generalist for at least 1-2 years.
  • Good technical HR competence across various disciplines.
  • We have an international environment; hence, having an advanced English level (written and spoken) is a must.
  • You have an eye for detail, an essential quality you need to have as an HR.
  • You need to have the ability to thrive in a highly fast-paced environment and manage multiple conflicting priorities. We also prefer those who are exceptionally well organized in their work.
  • You have an academic background in Psychology/HRM/similar.
  • RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Onboarding & Offboarding
  • Assist and implement policies that explain FOREO SEA operations for new joiners.
  • Contract, offer letter preparation, and related paperwork.
  • Preparation of welcoming new employees and ensuring a smooth process until the new joiner is onboard.
  • Assign buddies and mentors.
  • Implement and monitor the first day, first week, and first-month checklist.
  • Implement the 30, 60, and 90-day plans.
  • Assist with the handover process.
  • Conduct and report exit interviews, and find ways to improve.
  • Deactivate access and account.
  • Assist with hardware, product handover, and any other company property.
  • Compensation & Benefits
Keep track of the company's salary data and calculate for new hire budget according to local (CPF, insurance, etc.) and regional policies.
Calculate part-timer compensation and bonus.
Work alongside the Global HR Team in the area of Performance Management and how it impacts position and compensation adjustment.
Initiate and implement local and regional Compensation & Benefits programs, policies, and processes.
Stay up to date about the latest market trends in the field of Compensation & Benefits in the SEA region for in-office and remote teams.
Review and maintain reward programs and policies.
Support the GM with ad hoc requests.
  • Employee Relations
Act as culture keeper by detecting and resolving issues in the team and be a bridge between employees and management.
Offer counseling services to employees, conduct pulse check surveys, and periodic calls with Supervisors.
Participate in the termination processes.
Perform employee background checks and verify the information.
Communicate policies related to People in SEA
Collect and analyze employee data (exit interview, 90-day employee survey, pulse check, box-of-ideas), and if applicable, create employee profiles.
Use data to create employee profiles.
Represent FOREO SEA at job fairs and college campuses.
Oversee employee onboarding and training.
Liaise between employees and management.

Administration
  • Maintain digital personnel records like attendance, employment contracts, and PTO requests, organize and update employee files.
  • Take care of reimbursements related to HR programs.
  • Oversee the product shipment as part of employee benefits.
  • Create and distribute FOREO SEA guidelines and policies.
  • Respond to employees' queries.
