Job Description

SUMMARY:
Generally responsible for overseeing employee compensation and benefits with the alignment of all compensation systems to general conditions on the labor market as well to legal regulation ensuring that the compensation practices are being complied. Assist and liaises in all government and company initiated benefits administration.
QUALIFICATIONS
1.Degree in a program of study related to Human Resources or Business Administration, Associate's Degree or a combination of education and experience
2.At least 1 year experience working in benefits and administration liaising with government institutions.
3.Good oral, written and interpersonal skills
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
1.Intermediate computer skills and experience
2.Knowledge of specific software and web-based systems related to benefits management.
3.With background in HR Compensation & Benefits Facet
4.Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
5.Can work with limited supervision and ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
6.Organizational skills
7.Knowledge of employee mandatory benefits
8.Exemplifies customer service skills
9.Responsible and result - oriented
10.Team player
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Processes Company government mandated benefits.
2.Tracks and ensures remittances are paid and posted.
3.Processes requests related compensation and benefits certificate.
4.Coordinates to government agencies related to Comp & Ben.
5.Assists in facilitating initial Comp & Ben related activities such as monitoring of mandated government numbers and/or remittances.
6.Checks government agencies information portal from time to time.
7.Assists employees on any Comp & Ben related concerns within the Region.
8.Produces compensation and benefits report.
9.Provides payroll assistance.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1.Ensures employee statutory contributions are deducted and forwarded to Payroll on time.
2.Manages employee loan requirements collection.
3.Coordinates with payroll of any Comp & Ben related such as loans and adjustments.
4.Coordinates with finance related to funding and payment.
5.Ensures compliance with government regulation.
6.Coordinates to HR Admin to ensure correctness and accuracy of employee data
7.Validates employee statutory number - (no invalid number)
