  • This is an opportunity for a driven leader to take on an exciting new career challenge as you support the APAC Head of HR in the day-to-day delivery of strategic and operational HR advice
  • You’ll be the primary point of contact in HR for the APAC population across Singapore, Tokyo and Hong Kong

  • This role is available for a duration of six months

What you'll do

You'll contribute to HR and business strategies as a member of the business’ leadership team, translate and deliver the organisation and business people strategy in your aligned business area, and partner with the franchise HR leadership team to agree and deliver a fit for purpose HR service catalogue into the franchise business area, which reflects the business priorities. We'll look to you to provide support to APAC managers in all areas of HR, including, their people strategy, organisational design and change, engagement and culture, talent and succession, reward and performance management, capability and workforce planning, and policy and governance. You’ll also:
  • Be a key interface between HR and your aligned business area as well as plan and promote HR initiatives through a variety of communication channels
  • Build a close partnership and work seamlessly with the HR Operations and Talent Acquisition specialists
  • Develop and execute people plans that deliver the agreed HR service catalogue
  • Provide leaders with expert advice, counsel, diagnostic analysis and decision support regarding people plans and strategy, drawing on HR Centres of Expertise
  • Deploy agreed key people measures, identify trends and make recommendations to drive employee engagement levels

The skills you'll need

We’re looking for someone with broad experience of relationship management in a complex, regulatory and commercial environment, along with exceptional knowledge and application of HR theories and practices. Additionally, you'll have sound decision making and excellent communication skills along with Workday or equivalent HRIS experience. You’ll also demonstrate:
  • Sound data literacy skills and the ability to identify and escalate risk
  • Experience of operational and financial planning
  • A track record of leading diverse professional teams
  • Knowledge of relevant legal policies, regulations and risk management
