We are pleased to start 2023 with an exclusive mandate with a company whose green mission is close to our hearts - Sustainability through clean energy transition. Founded 15 years ago in Europe, they have since supported thousands of global MNCs in their clean energy transition strategies. Their global network and extensive local market know-how have since contributed to their reputation as a go-to leader for sustainability solutions and green energy adoption.

They are currently seeking a Regional HR Business Partner as part of their ongoing efforts to grow their footprint across the emerging Asia markets. This is a pioneer HR position based in Singapore (APAC headquarters) with matrixed reporting into Europe. Whilst an individual contributor role to being with - you will eventually lead a HR team based across the region.

Role

Our client has immediate plans to set-up new offices across Asia within the next 6-12 months as a result of organic business expansion. The successful candidate will hence be part of the pioneering team in charge of growing the organisation\'s footprint in the region. You might be a sole HR contributor for the next 12 months, but will eventually lead a team of HR specialists based across the region and report directly to the head office in Europe. This unique role will bring out the best in a HR professional and utilize a candidate\'s strategic and hands-on intuitions. Your strategic acumen will be constantly honed as you establish & formalize HR policies across the region; similarly, your strong operational background will also come to bear as you support regional employees through their lifecycle activities. There will truly never be a dull time but you will experience the thrills of being in a scaling company which supports the global mission of advancing sustainability energy and ensuring a greener future for all.

Requirements

The successful candidate should possess at least 8 years of progressive HR experience with either a matrixed organisation or fast-growing start-up. You must be equally adept at reviewing HR policies as you are hands-on with full spectrum HR activities. You should also be a fluent communicator both in speech and writing. Regional HR experience across Southeast Asia or Oceania is advantageous but not necessary.
