OVERVIEW:

We are searching for a HR Business Partner, ASEAN who possesses the leadership skills to operate effectively in a matrix environment and understands the importance of building customer centric teams, and is passionate about creating a learning culture to develop our human capital. The person should have a consultative and collaborative leadership style, proven track record / achievements and experienced in building effective teams. THE ROLE

This role is responsible for supporting human capital strategies and actions plans to support growth plans in the region together with Regional functional leaders (i.e. Innovation, Operations, Finance, HR, IT and Supply Chain). The authority of this role is to lead, direct and coordinate the development and execution of human resource activities to achieve alignment and overall organization\'s objectives. In addition this role would have to liaise with Multi-discipline team including support functions, to delight our Internal stakeholders.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

The responsibilities of the role are to provide direction to implement the most effective business partnering strategy, drive employee engagement and experience activities to support efforts to achieve organization growth and transformation. The role shall devise strategic / tactical activities to provide HR advice and guidance to ASEAN leaders and perform full HR spectrum of tasks. In addition, it is to support key tasks, including regional talent acquisition, talent management and compensation and benefits which are aligned with Regional vision and aspirations.

The assigned territories include all associated businesses in South East Asia. This individual is expected to support the existing business growth in the next few years.

The HR Business Partner, ASEAN\'s specific responsibilities will fall into three primary areas:

Maximum 3 pointers per accountability

Accountability #1: Customer (Internal / External Stakeholders)

  • Provide HR advice and guidance to Business leaders in ASEAN countries (Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam, etc.)
  • Respond effectively to recruit the right candidate based on Knowledge Skill and Behaviour and fulfil the recruitment KPIs
  • Provide timely, accurate information to support business decisions
  • Management of ASEAN Total Labour Cost within Budget
  • Design and develop annual Sales Incentive Plan and Manufacturing Incentive Plan for Global approval
Accountability #2: Process / Performance
  • Standardize policies & harmonize benefits and ensure alignment of HR practices across ASEAN and within the guideline of East Asia and India
  • Monitor Legal compliance and implement applicable country requirements
  • Maintain an integrated headcount & recruiting process, competitive pay plan and benefits program, employee development and succession pipeline. Ensure business leader control SG&A expenditure within budget guideline
Accountability #3: People
  • Maintain and develop human resource staffing by recruiting, selecting, orientating and training
  • Manage the 3-E development framework for 9-Box placement especial talent with 6,8 and 9 rating
  • Evaluation and identify together with business leader for talent pipeline and succession plan
Implement Early Career program for critical talent within ASEAN.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

This person must have at least 8 years hands on experience in HR experience supporting aggressive expansion plans and business transformation in the assigned countries or region.
  • Minimum 10 years, proven track record in HR generalist function
  • Demonstrated understanding of regulatory environments
  • Familiar with HR software systems
  • Proactive & good communication skill with all levels
  • Highly organized individual who can work well under pressure
