Position Summary
Experienced and results-driven HR business partner to align our site(s) HR initiatives and functions with business objectives and business needs. Supports the HR Manager, Asia and Australia for HR matters at all responsible locations. Primary Position Responsibilities & Outcome In collaboration with site business leaders, plans and implements human resources initiatives, policies and practices designed to maximize organizational effectiveness and comply with local regulations.
Continuously involved with projects or initiatives to enhance the employee experience and increase engagement.
Acts as the Point of Contact and Subject Matter Expert for employees on all HR related matters such as Performance Management, onboarding/offboarding, new employee orientation, employment changes, internships, and cyclical HR activities such as talent development /reviews and organizational succession planning.
Acts as employee advocate and advisor on career and development initiatives.
Partners with stakeholders to forecast hiring needs, evaluate staffing requests, recommend most appropriate placement for sourcing, partnering with Talent Acquisition, interview arrangements, screening etc.
Identifies and migrates HR best practices on a regional/global basis through the Human Resources leadership including facilitation of performance management processes, review of reporting/systems, calibration discussions, dispute resolution and retention discussions.
Identifies employee relation practices to create employee engagement and foster positive morale.
Writes and delivers presentations to employees and/or management staff regarding various HR issues.
Maintains operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing project, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
Acts as primary contact for employee relations’ issues/resolutions.
Operates within the boundaries of and reinforces the Textron Business Conduct Guidelines.
Supports annual processes such as merit and promotion board where applicable by collecting data, researching work history/performance and making salary recommendations.
This HR Generalist position requires demonstrated experience in several HR disciplines and supporting a client base in a Business Partner role. Requires strong HR background and expertise to be successful.

Position Requirements

Education: Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related fields
Experience: Minimum eight (8) year experience with broad HR experience and in-depth generalist skill set across the HR space
Skills / Certifications: Peoplesoft, Taleo, Success Factors, Glint, TimeClock Plus
Preferred:

  • Able to interact and communicate effectively with all levels.
  • Excellent time management and ability to prioritize.
  • Detail oriented, process and results focused, strong follow-through.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive nature and can-do attitude.
  • Sound knowledge on Singapore Employment Act. Additional knowledge in Asia and Australia local employment Act preferred.
