We are looking for a resourceful and adaptable full-time Human Resource Business Partner to join our global human resource (HR) team. Based in Singapore, you will manage one HR specialist in Malaysia, who will impact the people and business at Browzwear (Singapore).

As a people and business savvy Human Resources Business Partner, you will

  • Collaborate with HR leadership to deliver HR processes in the APAC and Europe offices
  • Provide HR guidance and support in areas such as talent acquisition, talent development, retention, compensation and benefits, performance management, onboarding, offboarding, HR reporting and HR administration
  • Assist with writing/editing job descriptions, conducting interviews, evaluating candidates, and extending employment offers
  • Support the onboarding and offboarding of employees
  • Drive the implementation of the annual appraisals as well as learning and development programs that are aligned with the company\xe2\x80\x99s competency framework
  • Advise and partner with business managers to resolve routine employees\xe2\x80\x99 HR matters and seek external professional guidance when necessary
  • Continuously drive improvements in tools and policies through external market trends, insight, and internal best practice
  • Contribute to HR policy-making and processes that support the business unit\xe2\x80\x99s people strategy and objectives.
  • Strengthen the company\xe2\x80\x99s culture and values through designated programs or activities; develop employee communication channels.
  • Work with Finance and payroll partners to support the payroll cycle when necessary
  • Support HR administrative matters when necessary
  • 4 - 6 years of experience in Human Resources, with regional exposure (Malaysia, India, Vietnam, Taiwan etc.)
  • Proficiency with digital tools in HR & payroll management and recruitment platforms
  • Understanding of labour laws applicable to Singapore and Malaysia
  • Ability to manage resources and stakeholders, and communicate in large and small groups in physical and virtual settings
  • Ability to work in agile environments, as well as demonstrate strong critical thinking skills and resourcefulness to resolve problems
  • Strong cultural awareness
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to understand the importance and application of data analytics in business decision-making
  • A solid team player who can thrive in a matrixed co-leadership environment
  • Bonus: experience and understanding of employment practices in Europe.
