Job Description


The role: The HR Business Partner (HRBP) will work closely with the business lead and HRD and will be responsible for driving the MyRepublic people plans and ensuring that people processes, programs and systems are aligned to the Business Unit strategy and objectives. How you\xe2\x80\x99ll contribute to MyRepublic\xe2\x80\x99s success Partners with the business head to drive performance through people by:

  • Providing advice on a broad range of people issues; influencing business decisions by providing best practice advice.
  • Helping business head to understand the people\'s implications of business decisions.
Drive people programs and initiatives that create competitive advantage by:
  • Understanding the business drivers and metrics and providing MD with insights and recommendations relating to his team to influence informed decision making.
  • Using insights to prioritize HR activity and develop appropriate interventions for teams.
Provides professional advice and actions key people practices by:
  • Developing capability - Identifying key capability gaps; technical and leadership
  • Managing and building Talent
  • Recommending and taking actions to strengthen the talent pipeline through retention, acquisition and development strategies.
  • Creating the desired Culture
  • Working with the leadership team to embrace culture, values and create a high performing organization.
  • Providing guidance and feedback to reinforce the desired behaviours that will build the culture.
  • Effectively using a performance management process to create a high-performance culture.
  • Enhancing Employee engagement
  • Facilitating the development of the action plan to address key areas of focus from the annual employee engagement survey, ensuring alignment with the company action plan.
  • Work with the leadership team to deliver actions that will drive an increase in engagement.
Collaborate and provide support to the HRD, HR team members; including projects We think you\xe2\x80\x99ll fit in great with us if you:
  • Bachelors Degree with specialization in HR Management or any related discipline preferred.
  • 5 - 8 years related HRBP/ generalist experience.
  • Good working knowledge of local employment legislation.
  • Team player with good communication, relationship management and influencing skills.
  • Enjoys working in a highly empowered and energetic workplace environment.
  • Self-starter with good multitasking skills.
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills
