End-to-end support for the development of HR Analytics capabilities in Prudential
:

• Routine tasks could include, but not limited to:
  • Data Management – Upkeep of data repositories and established schemas
  • Reports – Report on key HR metrics
  • Support to other HR teams – as required in annual activities e.g. performance reviews, budgeting, employee surveys

• Project work could include, but not limited to:
  • Design and develop data model with various analytics tools (e.g. BI Dashboards, forecasting tools) to enable our HR users and the business
  • Gather and analyze data using advanced statistical models where required towards providing descriptive and/or predictive insights

Who we are looking for:
Competencies & Personal Traits

• Technical competencies could include, but not limited to:
  • Proficiency in scripting (see language requirements)
  • Proficiency in at least 1 statistical tool, e.g. SPSS, SAS, STATA, Matlab
  • Proficiency in at least 1 BI tool, e.g. Tableau, Power BI, Qlik
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated ability in data storytelling

• Soft competencies and personal traits could include, but not limited to:
  • Strong relationship building skills internally and externally across all levels
  • Detail-oriented, self-empowered (high initiative) and resourceful in problem solving
  • Innovative mindset with proactive desire to simplify and reduce assigned tasks without loss in efficiency or effectiveness
  • Able to work independently or collaboratively as a team
  • High level of accountability and demonstrated success in a dynamic environment with sometimes conflicting priorities
  • Ability to inspire trust with high level of integrity to handle sensitive personal data
  • Business and financial acumen is highly advantageous

Working Experience

• Employment experience would be advantageous but not compulsory
• Hands-on project experience with demonstrated success is a must

Professional Qualifications

• Professional qualifications in support of competency requirements would be advantageous

Education

• Diploma or Degree from any discipline
• Disciplines from Engineering, Statistics, Computing Science or equivalent background would be advantageous

Language

• Proficiency in at least one Query Language is a must – e.g. SQL, M, DAX
• Other languages, advantageous to have – e.g. R, python
• Must be able to communicate effectively in fluent verbal and written English
