Client Details

Our client is a parent organization with different brands under its belt, ranging from the lifestyle to the F&B industry. They have operations around Singapore and Malaysia and have plans to expand their influence outside the region. They are currently in search of an HR Director, with a focus on learning and development, to take responsibility for initiatives in that strategic area within the department.

Description

Reporting directly to the CEO, the success of the role would be measured on the below:

  • Creating human resources policies that reflect the direction, goals, and values of the business.
  • Taking charge of benefits administration, strategy, and selection
  • Managing the recruiting process by developing recruitment tactics, promoting employment branding, and overseeing the talent acquisition department.
  • Establishing and adhering to Company policy in addition to making sure all applicable laws and rules are followed.
  • Recommending innovative ideas, policies, and procedures to continually increase the effectiveness of departments and the services provided.
  • Evaluating reports, decisions, and outcomes of departments regarding specified goals.
Profile
  • At least 12 years of experience in HR within the F&B/ Hospitality/ FMCG/ Retail space
  • At least 9 years of leadership experience with proven experience in managing a team
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related majors
  • Proven experience as Director/Head of HR
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent knowledge of employment legislation and regulations
  • Strong business acumen partnered with attention to the human element
  • Thorough knowledge of human resource management principles and best practices
