Our Client:
Our client is a Japanese company, they are a distributor and representative of advanced electronic components, equipment, and other electronic products. They have business in Singapore serves customers in Singapore, Vietnam, Philippines, Indonesia, India, Australia and New Zealand in sourcing semiconductor and electronic component products. They are actively looking to hire a HR Director to join them.
The Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and synchronize HR related policies, procedures, and practices
  • Work with the respective region HR on talents acquisition, talents retention, trainings and succession planning
  • Benchmark and review salary structure to ensure competitiveness, propose and formulate incentive plans
  • Work with management and department heads to roll out quantifiable performance measurements to ensure short- and long-term company's success
  • Work with departments to review and analyse employee efficiency, propose solutions to support sustainable company's growth
  • Ensure local compliance with employment laws, regulations, and other statutory HR requirements.
  • Work with management to build a striving and an inclusive work environment
  • Work with HQ's Head of HR to ensure timely delivery of HR projects
The Requirements:
  • Degree in Human Resource, Business Management or equivalent
  • Preferably with a minimum of 5 years' experience in HR covering the Asia Pacific region
  • Proactive and possess strong organisational, analytical, and influencing skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
  • Fluent in English and Chinese, both oral and written be able to liaise effectively with native Mandarin-speaking colleagues in overseas
  • Ability to adapt and manage multiple priorities and work independently and effectively in a multinational and multicultural environment
  • Knowledge and understanding of local employment laws and regulations within the Asia Pacific region.
  • Travelling is required
