Job Description


HR Executive supports the HR Director with people related initiatives and processes within their responsibility area to enable good business decisions. This task is performed in collaboration with the HR Director with guidance from the business management. They support business leaders in the implementation of organizational business strategy and implement and maintain HR initiatives to ensure the ongoing success of the organization.
Responsibilities & Key Activities:


  • Develop, evaluate, implement and maintain some or all of the following global HR policies, processes and practices to create an engaged and motivated workforce who achieve KONE’s business, quality, safety and environmental objectives:

  • Resourcing and Talent Management (recruitment, onboarding, job rotation, career streams, international assignments, succession planning, Leadership and Talent Review (LTR), HR KPI’s, International Trainee Program, employer branding, educational institution cooperation, exit from KONE)

  • Competence Development (leadership & development programs, KONE competences; IDP)

  • Reward (compensation, incentives, recognition and benefits)

  • Performance Management (Performance Discussion process, managing performance improvement, recognizing high performance)

  • Organizational Development (organization management, design & role relationships including role and position descriptions and evaluation)

  • Workplace equality

  • Employee Health, Safety and Wellbeing

  • HR Administration (payroll, employment contracts, employee data, employment status changes, updating and maintaining HR information in employee accessible information points (ie. Intranet, notice boards etc.)

  • Human Resource Information Systems (Global Employee Database, People Leadership Tool, Online Resourcing Tool, other relevant HR systems and tools)

  • Employee Communication (eg. KONE Code of Conduct, strategy and values communication, KONE Pulse)

  • Employment/Industrial/Labor relations

  • May evaluate the regional/unit/area/global workforce needs (headcount, salary costs etc) to maintain control of fixed costs and recommend changes to the HR strategy.

  • Ensure that the organization complies with all applicable regulations, laws and employment standards.

  • Maintain strong connections with other HR colleagues within KONE to share best practices and to understand current and future trends.
