Job Description


1. Attachment Description The HR Manager will provide HR Support to the Management of Sin Hiap Mui Pte Ltd. The incumbent is responsible for supporting the Management in all HR administration tasks related to HR Operations including Staffing, Employee Relations, Compensation & Benefits, Recruitment, HRIS & Training & Development. 2. Specific Responsibilities Individual will be involved in: 1. Carbonate Software System: Maintain and update employee database in all internal HR systems and work with external vendors to ensure all data are up to date in external vendor system. Manage all employee-related inquiries regarding the HR system and work with internal to resolve all issues related to the system. 2. Recruitment & Offboarding: Assist end to the end recruitment process by leveraging internal HR tools, Job portals, and other external sources, proper review, and selection of candidates. To facilitate and support the process of onboarding, probation period evaluation, HR documentation including headcount reporting and update. (New join, resigned). Maintain and upkeep HR personnel files (Hard and soft copies) and all HR-related documents. Support the process and documentation related to termination and off-boarding. Manage intern-related recruitment process and documentation. 3. Training & Development: HR development coordinator and support in people development adopting local practices with global standards. Support annual training plan consolidation, sourcing of courses, and management of all government subsidies related to training. Update and maintain annual training plan quarterly and closely monitor the training process including pre and post-training evaluation. Update of training matrix, training database, induction training planning for new hires, OJT training, and management of all training-related reporting and administration. 4. Employee Relations: Support and participate in organizing company activities, events and encourage employee engagement and communication by working with internal stakeholders. Support and manage CSR programs and ensure that it is aligned to corporate goals. Support EAP and all HR related meetings and activities for employee engagement and communication 5. Compensation & Benefits: Maintain and update staff movement for insurance, manage all employee-related enquiries related to insurance coverage and claims, assist in yearly insurance renewal and support the maintenance and upkeep of all insurance related documen+D8ts. Maintain and monitor all leave-related inquiries and support, assist preparation of leave provision to internal stakeholders and monitor government-related leaves and work with external vendors on the document submission to the government. Update and maintain all policies and documents related to compensation and benefits. 6. Technical Skills and Competencies 1. Gain experience with Human Resources Online Systems (Leave, Recruitment system, etc) and database management and record keeping.
2. Understand and gain experience in the full recruitment process from Onboarding to offboarding, improve on recruitment related skills and employment records keeping related to finance and internal audits.
3. Gain experience in area of training and development by learning to build the course library database, sourcing skills for training related courses, training database management and update of training matrix
4. Partner with internal teams to gain exposure in organising employee engagement activities and events and budget / cost planning related to company events and activities.
5. Gain experience in compensation & benefits related HR Administration and operations.
