Talent Acquisition:
  • Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment process
  • Prepare salary proposal for shortlisted candidate
  • Monitoring of employee’s confirmation, employee performance improvement plan and yearly performance management review
  • Ensure personal records, leave records, documentation are updated accurately and promptly.


Training & Development:
  • Responsible for full cycle of training process for Shipyard employees
  • Ensure ISO documents and training records are updated promptly.


HR Operations/ HRIS/ Administration:
  • Provide day-to-day HR operations support for Shipyard employees including work pass applications, employee data management, leave management including home leave application
  • Manage employee life-cycle, including on-boarding and off-boarding process
  • Responsible for HRIS systems including liaising with HRIS vendor and troubleshooting issues
  • Responsible for statutory paid leave claims process, NS make-up claims and all Government related claims
  • Preparation of staff certification letters, company letters for citizenship, bursary applications, etc.
  • Handle foreign workers accommodation/dormitory matters such as on-boarding/off-boarding, rental invoices, feedback from dormitory management


Contractors:
  • Responsible to manage all Shipyard Sponsored Common Contractors matters including work pass applications etc.


All other HR functions duties may be assigned from time to time.
Job Requirement
  • Diploma with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in HR operations functions
  • Knowledgeable in Singapore Employment Legislation such as Employment, CPF and Income Tax Act
  • Experience in Handling workers & dormitory matters is an advantage
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office,preferably with Timesoft and familiar with HRIS systems
  • Strong problem-solving skills and sense of responsibility
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be a team player with ‘can-do’ attitude
