Roles & Responsibilities Role of Position Assists in hiring talented employees into the organisation and ensuring that the manpower needs of the organisation are effectively met through timely hiring. Key Performance Outcome Measurements

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Supports the company strategy in talent sourcing and hiring for the entities assigned;
  • Ensures that the manpower needs of the organization are met in a timely manner;
  • Ensures that the recruitment costs are managed effectively;
  • Ensures that all hiring are supported by approved job requisitions;
  • Assists in the right selection of candidates through proper screening and selection process;
  • Analyses and selects proper recruitment channels to hire good caliber candidates and manage recruitment costs;
  • Conducts shortlisting of candidates and follow up interviews with hiring managers;
  • Prepares job offer package and seeks required approvals prior to job offers being made;
  • Negotiates on job offers as appropriate;
  • Follows through on employment contract preparation and signatures;
  • Applies for work pass applications as required;
  • Follows up on candidates reporting for work and onboarding process;
  • Keeps abreast of hiring needs in the organization through close liaison with hiring managers;
  • Assists in negotiating commission rates with manpower agencies;
  • Follows up on arrangements for new hires such as creating email accounts, name cards, employee ID, personal files, update of information in shared drives, etc;
  • Facilitates on-boarding process such as orientation of new staff;
  • Updates/Scans staff certificates, IC, work passes in shared drives and HRMS;
  • Process the payroll of employees in overseas entities (checking attendance, computation of salary, liaising with payroll vendors, etc;
  • Assists in other staff matters of overseas entities eg appraisals, confirmation letters, resignee paperwork and exit clearance;
  • Covers duties of other HR staff as and when required;
  • Takes care of medical insurance affairs of employees; updates insurance company of new additional members and deletion of members for medical and insurance coverage; follows up on issuance of medical cards and medical reimbursements;
  • Collates and updates Project CV for new and existing employees;
  • Performs any other duties as assigned.
