We are looking for a HR & Finance intern who thrives in a challenging, exciting and fast-paced start-up environment. S/he should be proactive, organized and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a timely manner. Someone who is independent but also able to collaborate in a team environment.

Reporting directly to our HR & Finance Manager, he/she will play a key role in performing necessary arrangements for candidates, as well as having to be detail oriented when it comes to creating invoices and tallying of totals in monthly billing.

Responsibilities:

Human Resource

Participate in day to day HR recruitment activities from sourcing, screening, shortlisting to coordination of interviews

Assist on the full cycle of employee experience from onboarding to offboarding

Develop and update job descriptions

Work closely with other departments (Marketing, Operations, Sales etc) to build and maintain a database of potential candidates

Handle private and confidential matters (eg: payrolls & employee contracts)

Maintain company\'s culture

Any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned

Finance

Monthly invoicing tabulation

Bank reconciliations

Learning Outcomes & Objectives:

Improve communication and people skills comprehensively

Understand the importance of HR in a fast-growing startup

Get hands on experience of a wide spectrum of HR responsibilities

Get exposure and experience in company accounting & finance practises

Requirements:

Currently studying in a recognized university/polytechnic, preferably in HR, Finance, related field

Passionate about people, services and culture

Demonstrates a high degree of integrity and maintains confidentiality

Strong organizational and analytical skills

A team player who thrives in the fast-paced environment of a startup

A self-motivated employee who is organized, detail-oriented, and willing to learn

Able to commit full time for at least 5 months
