Job Description


The role requires the incumbent to oversee various human resources functions, including employee relations, compensation & benefits, payroll, and talent management. This position is vital for maintaining and enhancing organizational HR policies, programs, and practices to support the company\'s dynamic and innovative environment.Responsibilities

  • HR Policies and Employee Relations: Develop and implement HR policies, evaluating and enhancing employee relations and workplace practices.
  • Compensation & Benefits Management: Oversee all aspects of compensation and benefits, including insurance renewals, medical claims, bonus schemes, and annual performance appraisals.
  • Payroll Administration: Manage payroll processing using systems like WorkDay, ensuring compliance with tax laws and CPF regulations.
  • Leave and Work Passes Administration: Administer leave policies and handle work pass-related issues, ensuring adherence to local regulations.
  • Benefits and Claims Management: Manage employee benefits and oversee claims schemes, ensuring effective administration and resolution of payroll-related queries.
  • Performance and Talent Management: Implement performance appraisal systems and manage talent through recruitment, selection, and assimilation strategies to enhance retention.
  • HR Projects and Communication: Lead site-wide HR communications and undertake HR projects to meet business needs and improve employee engagement.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in an HR generalist role, preferably within the precision engineering or related industries.
  • Skills: Proficiency in HR systems such as WorkDay, and a thorough understanding of payroll tax laws and regulations. Strong knowledge of HR policies, compensation & benefits management, and talent management practices.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of managing site-wide communications and effectively addressing employee queries.
  • Problem-solving: Ability to address HR-related issues with effective solutions and adapt to changing business needs.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated leadership in managing HR projects and initiatives, with a focus on improving organizational practices and employee satisfaction.
