Job Description

Reporting to the Managing Director, the incumbent will be responsible in performing the full spectrum of the Human Resource functions such as handling employee relations, employee satisfaction surveys and reports, participation in audits, facilities management, management of resources etc. He / She will be coordinating, coaching and motivating the subordinates, through the appropriate training, development, management of performance and salary progression to ensure that staffs have the appropriate knowledge, skills and support that will help them perform effectively and contribute to the achievement of the department's desired short and long-term objectives.

Adecco is partnering with an MNC Shipping company and they are currently seeking a talented and experienced HR Manager to join their team!
Job Responsibilities:
Handles the accurate and effective implementation of the HR policies and procedures locally and supports the managers in the effective execution of theHR activities
Involves in the development of projects and provides insight for the creation of innovative HR strategies and systems
Actively participates in the development, improvement and implementation of the HR processes, procedures and systems, in order to comply and support the realization of company's strategic goals
Ensures the compliance of company's HR practices with the local labour legislation and collective labour agreement
Participates in the execution of external and internal audits
Schedules and implements satisfaction surveys as per company's guidelines
Develops, submits and upon approval implements the department's budget
Key Job Requirements:
At least 8 years of relevant experience in a leadership capacity with the ability to engage, inspire and develop high-performing teams.
Prior working experience in the Shipping industry is highly preferred.
Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management experience to drive changes and innovation
Very well-versed knowledge of handling HR systems and procedures, e.g. performance management, reward, training, etc.
Hands-on experience in the employees selection process
Highly adaptable and demonstrate agility to thrive in a fast pace & evolving environment.
