Regional Manager, HR

The Regional Manager, HR, will provide HR Business Partnering leadership for our offices in Asia. This position is a member of our global HR team and is accountable for planning, managing and improving a range of HR activities including program implementation, associate relations consulting and local hiring.

This position reports to the Global HR Director based in Singapore.

Major Responsibilities

People and Culture

  • Associate Engagement: Take and maintain pulse of the organization through informal and formal associate surveys. Provide recommendations to leaders about strengthening engagement. Implement those recommendations that are agreed upon
  • Associate Relations: Consult with and coach managers and associates on all aspects of associate-related issues including performance concerns, policies and procedures interpretation, misconduct investigations and terminations
  • Culture: Maintain the company\'s People First culture by fostering a positive work environment for all associates, adhering to policies and procedures, as well as managing associate recognition programs
HR Strategy & Consulting
  • Provide advice and counsel to business leaders on a wide array of considerations including team design, team dynamics, retention and engagement, and bench strength as well as individual coaching for enhanced performance
  • HR Metrics: Work with the Reward COE to track and analyze staffing, retention, turnover, exit interview data and other information necessary to provide qualitative and quantitative insights
  • Work with the Learning COE to manage the succession planning process including talent profiles, 6 block matrix, successor plans and development action commitments; identify the major strengths & opportunities
  • Ensure associate development plans are in place and activated, thereby ensuring strong bench strength is in place for the future
  • Planning: In partnership with other global HR leaders, create talent plans and provide the leadership to implement in client groups

  • Attract, develop and motive the talent needed to achieve business success
  • Establish high performance expectations, coach team members to success and hold individuals accountable for achieving results
Talent Acquisition & Employer Brand
  • Streamline hiring practices across Singapore and Asia, and bring forward best-in-class practices to attract the best talent for the organization
  • Provide strategic direction for building the employee value proposition and experience across Global

Requirements and Qualifications
  • University degree in business or Human Resources
  • 10 - 12 years of HR business partner experience, preferably in a retail organization, and 2-3 years leading an HR team
  • Demonstrated management or leadership skills, preferably experience leading other HR professionals
  • Proficient with Singapore and Asia HR practices and employment laws, compensation, hiring, performance management, coaching and employee relations
  • Knowledge of HR and payroll technology
  • Ability to travel as necessary
