The position will have some of the following key accountabilities:

  • Develop HR plans and strategies to support the achievement of business objectives and achievement of desired organizational culture.
  • Partner the TA team & collaborate HR operations teams in driving continuous improvements in our HR service delivery.
Business Partnering:
  • Drives overall implementation of plans and strategies based on business plans, continually monitors effectiveness.
  • Consults with plant leadership team on a variety of HR and business related issues, both strategically and operationally.
  • Continually assesses the effectiveness of the organization's business model and organization dynamics and leads efforts to realign/refocus as needed. Drives organization wide talent planning initiatives including profiling, assessment, calibration, development planning and succession planning.
  • Partner with Plant Leadership team to drive effective organizational alignment and processes to enable strong partnerships with key functions.
  • Lead change management efforts in partnership with the Plant Leadership team.
  • Drive an effective reward and recognition strategy that reinforces the culture and behaviors.
  • Partner with HR Operations in the review and design of R&R policies/ guidelines. Develop and implement measurement systems to determine the impact of HR programs.
  • Provide coaching and consultation on ER issues. Lead and drive global initiative; eg culture survey.
Functional/Job Skills Training:
  • Assign resource to lead the site's management of functional/job skills training infrastructure.
  • Ensure regular review of the effectiveness of the process/system.
  • Establish regular audit regimes to ensure compliance to job skills training are in place.
Talent Acquisition:
  • Partner closely with Talent Acquisition team, understand the hiring plan from senior leadership team according their future business needs, as well as talent development.
  • Ensure robust on-boarding process and programs are in place. Provide headcount/hiring analytics for business
Compensation Management:
  • Lead and manage compensation review processes/programs including but not limited to ACR, Variable pay plans, Reward and Recognition programs; allowances etc.
  • Assign resources to support effective delivery of compensation review services;
  • Monitor market trends and make recommendations to changes to program design as needed; Establish clear communication strategies are in place and ensure compensation related policies are updated and current.
Benefits Management:
  • Assign resources to manage the day to day benefits administration; selection of vendors.
  • Assess benefit administration processes & identify opportunities for improvements.
  • Review market trends; make recommendations for changes as needed.
  • Ensure benefits related policies are current and up to date & communication to the workforce for changes or updates.
As part of plant management team; support and/or lead plant initiatives; eg , MAMD etc.

Qualification & Minimum Requirement
  • A Bachelor's degree required
  • 3 years in managerial capacity ; preferred working in manufacturing environment
  • Strong leadership and influence skills and the ability to drive change
  • Demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships with management team and to coach and influence decision making of plant leaders
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Solid knowledge of HR strategies, practices and policies
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and resolve conflict
Bachelor's Degree (16 years) - Business Administration/Management
