HRS Manager SEA and Country HR Coordinator

The Role

  • Lead and manage day-to-day operations of the Shared Service Centre which acts as first point of contact for HR queries and administration.
  • Formulate all operational matters for HR shared services - including compliance of policies and standards to regulatory and legal requirements and monitoring of company-wide HR initiatives.
  • Execute data administration and deliver applicable services to employees and managers throughout the employee life cycle \xe2\x80\x93 including and not limited to HR advisory, recruitment, payroll, employee relations, HRIS management, on/off boarding.
  • Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide support and guidance to employees on HR policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of HR transactions including employee data changes, new hires, terminations, and benefits administration.
  • Responsible for developing the team to grow and enhance the Shared Service Centre.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve HR processes to optimize team operational performance, efficiency, and effectiveness.
  • Review SLAs (Service Level Agreements) with the business and manage delivery of services within agreed SLAs.
  • Ensure that services offered are effective and align to the needs of employees and business.
  • Develop and deliver HR metrics and reporting to measure and monitor effectiveness of HR shared services and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Manage HR shared services budget and ensure resources are utilized effectively.
  • Collaborate and work closely with other HR teams, internal stakeholders as well as external vendors.
  • Act as the Country HR Coordinator for South East Asia region to manage HR activities within the country dimension \xe2\x80\x93 including compensation, industrial relations, employee relations, pension plans and M&A projects.
Your Profile
  • Possess at least a Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree, preferably in relevant field.
  • More than 7 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in leading a HR Shared Service team in multi-national organizations.
  • Solid working knowledge of employment legislations and HR best practice in Singapore, and the region.
  • Excellent knowledge of core HR processes and procedures, with a drive for efficiency and a service mindset.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Able to work on own initiative and well as part of a team, must be self-sufficient
  • Ability to demonstrate personal and professional credibility
  • Comfortable with full Microsoft office suite.
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience in using Workday is advantageous.
  • Flexible to travel regionally if required.
