Position Purpose:

The Regional People Experience Senior Executive/Asst. Manager - SEA, is responsible for driving all people related matters and managing the day to day implementation of People Experience initiatives and policies in both operational and strategic levels in order to achieve high performance and high engagement organisation.

The role will be working closely with the Regional People Experience Director (RPXD) and the People Experience (PX) teams in both Country and Global offices, to develop and deliver a number of programs and campaigns aiming to provide our people with the best employment experience.

Key responsibilities are as follows; * Promote employee wellbeing, engagement and sustainability in the region

  • Collaborate with the Country and Global People Experience teams to implement new projects and campaigns to improve and enhance employees\' experiences working with IDP.
  • Co-design with Global team and implement talent management program to identify and carry out succession planning initiatives.
  • Responsible for creating and implementing training and development programs and overseeing the development of careers. Sets performance metrics, evaluate productivity, and assist employees to create long-term career plans within an organization.
  • Directly support Country and Regional Leadership Teams (RLT) to create a collaborative work environment across departments through effective internal communications via such channels as internal social network website (JAM), emails, bulletin boards, newsletters, town hall, social events, and instant messaging groups, etc.
Responsibilities:

Employee Wellbeing, Engagement & Sustainability
  • Design and lead overall Employee Wellbeing & Engagement roadmap (inclusive of Global and Regional work programs), and work with Country PX teams on implementation of the programs to foster high performance and engagement culture
  • Support the integration of IDP\xe2\x80\x99s sustainability strategy and implementation across the region with a creative and digitalized sustainability initiative annually, keeping abreast of evolving sustainability policies, trends and competitive activity
  • Be the Voice of the Regional office. Develop, execute, and evaluate internal communication plan to ensure initiatives, and organisational information are communicated regularly and effectively
  • Design and deliver Regional employee engagement survey and monitor completion of Global surveys as and when necessary. Review survey results and propose action plans to improve Employee Net Promoter Scores (eNPS)
  • Drive an adoption of the internal social media, JAM, to deliver a great people experience through regular content contributions and active participation in relevant discussions and topics.
  • Promote and administer employee recognition awards programs such as Regional and Country Excellence Award programs
  • Organise employee social events, including but not limited to team building, holiday events, and company outings.
Learning & Capability Development
  • Champion learning and development programs for SEA in collaboration with Global and Country teams (e.g. Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, etc.)
  • Monitor and track completion of learning and development (L&D) related programs (GROW, Destination Certification etc.), for Global and Regional updates to meet the desired outcomes
  • Design and deliver regional people development strategy in collaboration with Global, ensuring that development programs are aligned to IDP\xe2\x80\x99s strategic direction and business plans
  • Collaborate with Country teams to identify individual/team competencies and develop role-based competency frameworks
  • Coordinate with Country teams to identify Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), new participants for global initiatives
Talent Management & Succession Planning
  • Lead and facilitate talent management program including talent identification and succession planning for key roles across the region
  • Design and implement development programs for the identified talents with in collaboration with the Global Learning team
  • Create dedicated feedback and engagement programs to monitor progress and retain identified successor candidates
Employee Relations
  • Manage employee complaints and grievance procedures, and facilitate counseling in conjunction with other stakeholders
  • Proactively prevent/deal with disputes through mediation
  • Promote the relationship between the organisation and unions or employment/governmental bodies to ensure compliance and fair employment practices
Other People Related Duties and Programs
  • Effectively identify opportunities to digitise people process administration to increase effectiveness and enhance employment experience
  • Provide operations support to the Region PX team as required, e.g., scheduling recruitment activities, onboarding new joiners, and updating people system etc.
  • Support any other people work program as appropriately assigned
Essential Requirements:
  • Bachelor degree or higher in HR Management, Business Studies/Administration/Management or related field
  • Minimum 5 to 8 years\xe2\x80\x99 of working experience in HR function with experience in employee wellbeing & engagement function
  • Excellent fluency in English to collaborate with local and global teams
  • Sound understanding of the principles underpinning great employee experiences and locallabour laws
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, and able to engage effectively with all levels of the organisation
  • Highly organised, meticulous, able to prioritise and multitask with minimal supervision, high energy, resourceful, independent, can-do attitude
  • Demonstrated ability to manage internal and external relationships
  • High degree of initiative and advanced problem solving skills
  • Proactive personality with positive influence to our people
Desirable Requirements
  • Proactive to implement process improvements
  • Experience working in MNC with matrix organisation setting
  • Any other South East Asian language will be a plus
  • Regional experience in any SEA markets will be an added advantage
