We are looking for a talented HSE Intern OR Health and Safety Associate to join our team in Pandan Ave, Singapore, Hybrid work model. This role has required travelling within Singapore either Tuas or Pandan Ave. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: The internship with the Cummins HSE department will provide the intern exposure to real business with regards our HSE policies and processes in keeping the working environment safe and efficient. The intern is be given hands-on opportunity to understand and develop improvement plans and expected to identify and provide analysis and suggestions to the current process.

• Work with the relevant test cell engineers and technicians on systems improvements catering to HSE (System safety systems, work-at-height restraints systems etc)
• Work with the environmental committee on site for various improvements regarding disposal methodology and methods of improving 3Rs (Reduce, reuse, recycle)
• Review current process of HSE key metrices compilation for area of improvements.
• Review current visitor induction program and support improvement in opportunity to convert f2f induction to video format for efficiency.
• Review current list of statutory items tracking system on site and explore opportunity to combine all items into 1 single tracker for ease of updating and reporting to regulatory.

Qualifications To be successful in this role you will need the following:

• Analytical / IT skills
• General engineering knowledge (industrial/ environmental)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (e.g pivot, chart),
• Student who has exposure to related HSE modules would be advantages.
• Any other assigned HSE duties for knowledge enhancement
