Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Administer and implement HSE programs, regulatory requirements & inhouse HSE Management System
- Advise & support project management team to achieve the project HSE Target/Goals
- Ensure the Safety of personnel through compliance with Workplace Safety & Health Act and other relevant legislations
- Supports Project HSE Manager to implement project HSE Programs
- Administer HSE Meetings
- Assess PTW for work activities (HW, CS, WAH, other General Permits)
- Review Risk Assessments and Work method statements
- Manage subcontractors to coordinate HSE Programs
- Conduct in-house HSE Trainings (When necessary)
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements
- Carry out daily site inspection to ensure workplace is safe to work
- Prepare HSE Documentation (E.G. HSE Plans, SWPs, Annual Activity Plan Etc)
- Minimum Nitec/ Certificate in any engineering field
- At least 5 years relevant experience in HSE Field
- Preferably in Oil and Gas/Shipyard Industry
- Required Hot Work Assessor, Confined Space and Work at Height certification
- Required to be a WSHO Registered with MOM
- Able to work shift work
- Candidate should be dynamic, self-motivated and proactive.
- Good team player and able to work independently
- Good communication and interpersonal skill
- Willing to work overtime base on project needs
