Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Strategy: \xe2\x80\xa2 Conduct comprehensive orientation and onboarding sessions for new project staff. \xe2\x80\xa2 Deliver a spectrum of training sessions tailored to address project team needs and developmental requirements. \xe2\x80\xa2 Organize and facilitate regular seminars and technical talks. \xe2\x80\xa2 Maintain meticulous training records for all project staff.
• Compliance Management: \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensure compliance with local, national, and international HSEQ regulations and standards. \xe2\x80\xa2 Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify and mitigate risks.
• Training & Development: \xe2\x80\xa2 Design and deliver training programs for staff on HSEQ practices and procedures. \xe2\x80\xa2 Promote continuous learning and awareness of HSEQ issues among employees.
• Incident Management: \xe2\x80\xa2 Oversee the investigation of incidents, accidents, and near misses, ensuring root cause analysis and corrective actions are implemented. \xe2\x80\xa2 Maintain and analyze incident data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Reporting & Communication: \xe2\x80\xa2 Prepare and present HSEQ reports to senior management, highlighting performance metrics and areas for improvement. \xe2\x80\xa2 Act as the primary liaison for HSEQ matters with regulatory bodies, clients, and stakeholders.
• Continuous Improvement: \xe2\x80\xa2 Initiate and manage HSEQ improvement projects, utilizing methodologies \xe2\x80\xa2 Encourage employee engagement and participation in HSEQ initiatives.

• Outcomes Expected: \xe2\x80\xa2 Enhanced organizational safety performance and reduced incident rates. \xe2\x80\xa2 Improved compliance with HSEQ regulations and standards. \xe2\x80\xa2 Increased employee awareness and engagement in HSEQ matters. \xe2\x80\xa2 Establishment of a robust quality management system leading to higher customer satisfaction.

• Requirements: \xe2\x80\xa2 Degree or Diploma in a related field with relevant HSEQ certifications/accreditations (such as ISO 9001/ISO 14001/ISO 45001, Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent) recognised by recognised local and/or international body, is preferred. \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience in implementing effective QA framework and structure in project as auditors. \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong understanding of health, safety, environmental regulations, and quality management systems. \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. \xe2\x80\xa2 Outstanding written and oral communication skills. \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong leadership and team management abilities. \xe2\x80\xa2 Analytical and problem-solving skills. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to conduct training sessions and workshops effectively. \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience with incident investigation methodologies and reporting. \xe2\x80\xa2 Familiarity with data analysis and performance metrics related to HSEQ, is an added advantage. \xe2\x80\xa2 Commitment to continuous improvement and a proactive approach to safety and quality. \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong ethical standards and a commitment to compliance and integrity. \xe2\x80\xa2 Attention to detail and accuracy. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to navigate change in a fast-paced work culture. \xe2\x80\xa2 A collaborative team player with a positive attitude, drive, initiative, and the ability to work independently.

• Other Information: \xe2\x80\xa2 Work location: Changi East Project Office (CEPO) / offsite (hybrid) \xe2\x80\x93 to be agreed \xe2\x80\xa2 Working hours: - 8:30 am to 6:00 pm (Monday \xe2\x80\x93 Thursday) - 8.30 am to 5.30pm (Friday) - 1-hour lunch break.
