Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and manage trade, operational, and compliance documents for oil transactions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to organizational and industry requirements.

• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders (including brokers, suppliers, surveyors, and regulatory bodies) to facilitate efficient oil trades and resolve operational matters.

• Monitor and analyze vessel movements, cargo operations, and fuel consumption, ensuring accurate records and timely reporting to support commercial decisions.

• Maintain compliance with organizational standards, industry regulations, and safety requirements; participate in audits and risk assessments as needed.

• Collate operational and performance data, analyze trends, and prepare comprehensive management reports or presentations as required.

Requirements

• Diploma or higher in Marine Engineering, Maritime Studies, or a closely related engineering field (e.g., Nautical Studies, Mechanical Engineering).

• Minimum 2 years' work experience in the oil trading industry or a comparable role within maritime operations.

• Demonstrated diligence, attention to detail, and high standards of professionalism in daily tasks and compliance.

• Proven ability in drafting written documentation and reports, alongside effective verbal communication for business and operational contexts.

• Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel, for documentation, reporting, and operational coordination.
