BW Offshore builds on four decades of offshore operations and project execution to create tailored offshore energy solutions for evolving global markets. We are currently constructing and preparing operation of a major gas FPSO in North-Western Australia. BW Offshore is also adapting to a rapidly changing world, capturing opportunities that arise in the ongoing global energy transition. As part of that transition, we have invested in, and are developing, floating offshore wind solutions.

BW Offshore is looking for a HSSE Supervisor to join our Project team in Singapore. The position will be located in the Singapore Yard office and report to the Delivery Manager.

Key tasks and responsibilities

• Responsible for ensuring that incident investigations are performed according to the BWO procedure and that the quality and completeness of reports, including the root cause analysis, is in accordance with BWO requirements
• Responsible for monitoring that all activities subject to a Permit to Work are properly risk assessed and that the cumulative risk of all activities is ALARP at all times
• Responsible for ensuring that all risks identified through risk assessments are properly communicated to the workforce carrying out the work activities, and those directly affected by the work activities
• Responsible for arranging Emergency Response Drills, maintenance of associated records and timely rectification of drill report actions
• Responsible for ensuring that all HSE concerns are raised in a timely manner with offshore management and onshore support functions as appropriate according to BWO Policies and Procedures
• Responsible for ensuring the proper management of PPE and including the maintenance of adequate stock
• Perform awareness sessions with onshore personnel on all subjects related to OI, utilising the OI Understanding material
• Perform workforce engagement sessions with offshore personnel
• Perform HSE inductions for all new arrivals in the Yard

Qualifications

• Possess a diploma or equivalent experience
• Relevant experience may compensate formal education
• Ideally requires 10 years of relevant experience, in the Oil & Gas Industry

Skills

• Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Team player and meticulous to details
• Fluent in English (oral and written)
