Human Resources Business Partner - Retail
Sephora Singapore is looking to hire a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to drive organizational effectiveness, people development and performance management. The HRBP will both serve and challenge leaders to ensure we have in place the team we need to deliver our business strategy, and that we continue to be a place where talented people can grow quickly whilst delivering excellent results.
Reporting directly to the Head of HR, as a strategic and hands-on HRBP. You will partner closely with the largest department over 200 headcounts, Retail Operations team and play a key role in driving and shaping the transformation in the retail team, to be effective and strives the Omni-channel business model.
You provide HR advisory support to our stakeholders. You are an effective HR generalist with solid experience of HR practices and employee management to drive strategic HR solutions. You enjoy working at an accelerated pace, and is adept at juggling the short term tasks and strategize mid to long term goals aligned with business. You are agile and flexible in your approach to solving problems, and you will be measuring your success through the success of others.
Responsibilities:
Business Partnering
Build collaborative and trusting collaborative relationships with business leaders, anticipating business needs and implement appropriate initiatives
Working with the Store Leaders to build organization and people capabilities, improving workforce profile to increase efficiencies for long-term business growth
Maintain and make use of HR analytics to recommend and support people related decision
Support and facilitate talent movement across the business
Recruitment & Workforce Planning
Drive talent recruitment and hiring plans
Support employment brand initiatives
Identification and selection of key talent for the organization
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual headcount report to HQ for tracking of employee turnover, absenteeism, diversity etc
Employee Experience
Responsible for developing and implementing employee engagement initiatives for Sephora Singapore both market & RHQ.
Manage employee experience throughout their employment life-cycle ; attraction, recruitment, onboarding, development, retention and separation
Lead employee recognition & reward program
Performance Management
Manage the Annual Performance and Salary Review. Work with Business Units to ensure timely submissions including appropriate justifications for promotion recommendations
Support the Managers in Performance Improvement Plan, provide support in staff exit when necessary
Coach and provide guidance to Managers on managing performance issues at all levels
Resolve complex employee relations issues and address grievances
Key competencies
Minimum 7 to 10 years of relevant HR generalist experience with at least 5 years in HR Business Partnering, preferably in the retail, hospitality or service industry
Strong HR generalist experience in the areas of hiring, development, compensation & benefit, etc is required
Analytical and data orientated
Good knowledge of employment law & regulations and HR practices
Hands-on and solution-oriented with the ability to manage some operational areas if required on an ad-hoc basis
Entrepreneurial and able to work in a fast paced environment with numerous stakeholders
Reporting line & key stakeholders
