Manages a team of 2 to 3 HR specialistsAbout The Providore Group
The Providore group encompasses 3 F&B brands - The Providore, Ristorante Luka and Sushi Katori, as well as The Wine Distribution Company (TWDC).There are currently 9 F&B outlets with a workforce of 250 employees, the majority of this role relates to the F&B operations, and along with your team, the management all of the groups HR needs.With the exception of Sushi Katori, which has only recently opened, our brands are well established in the Singapore market and highly regarded amongst our peers for our consistency and the professional manner in which we conduct our businesses.We firmly believe our biggest asset is our team, and over the past few years we have implementing systems and practices to ensure they are engaged, supported and rewarded, with an opportunity for long term career growth. Manage a team of HR specialists to:- Manage all the HR matters relating to the businesses including payroll, time & attendance, leave tracking, petty cash disbursements, related reporting, and filing.- Maintain systems, to ensure all employee records are maintained, current and all the necessary paperwork is filed and up to date in the businesses HR systems- Develop, document, implement and maintain HR systems for better staff management across the whole business - including recruitment procedures, onboarding, performance appraisals, employee confirmation and employee exit procedures- Liaise with the stakeholders and Op's managers to improve employee engagement, retention and development through initiatives and programs designed to encourage their career progression and personal development- Create and maintain communication channels for staff engagement & enrichment, management feedback and to communicate new company directives, business initiatives and opportunities to the team- Develop and implement company policy and procedure documentation - handbooks, codes of conduct, job descriptions and outlet operating manuals to be housed in an LMS style software program or an internal training program- Create an internal recruitment program for promotion pathways, inter departmental or cross brand transfers and to create a career map for all positions in the companies, including career development opportunities for junior management- Liaise with Op's managers on recruitment needs - create & manage job postings, conduct interview screening and reference checking, when required, follow up with successful candidates and begin paperwork and onboarding procedures- Manage the employee benefit program, create a calendar of activities and rewards throughout the year that can be planned, budgeted, and executed in the required timeframe- Manage the employee performance bonus program, KPI and incentive rewards for the Op's management teamReporting
Use the work force management software and HR systems to generate reports on:- the make-up of the existing workforce for budget planning, optimising scheduling efficiency and to meet the companies DE&I goals- monthly staff movements, number of staff leaving or joining, the impact on quota generation and to identify vacant positions to determine recruitment needs- the monthly staff feedback, the general morale of the team through the feedback platforms and the summarised exit interview feedback- the efficiency of the part time work force, so it not only fills scheduling gaps, but it also generates quota and becomes a source of potential new full-time staff- any reports requested by the finance team, that are not captured by the system integrations, or any adhoc reporting requests from the core management team or the company directorsCompliance- Manage the foreign workforce and the companies MOM requirements - apply for new passes, renew expiring passes, update FW details in the MOM system and make sure the company is always fully compliant- Be across any changes to MOM guidelines that have a material impact on our business operations, complete MOM reporting criteria, surveys, and requests for information as required- Optimise the company employee and management structure to take advantage of synergies created within the group of company's activities- Ensure the recruitment processes, terminations or changes to an employee's employment terms are compliant, documented and will stand up to any scrutiny should they be challenged by an employee or an MOM audit- Ensure CPF, IRAS or any other manpower statutory filing obligations are accurate and are lodged in the required timeframesJob Type: Full-timeSalary: $6,500.00 - $7,800.00 per monthBenefits:
