Job Description


Who are you at Raw Kitchen Bar: The Hybrid Bartender and Food/Beverage runner is responsible for mixing and serving drinks. He/She works directly with the general manager to create and publish new menus and monthly specials. Their responsibilities include knowing alcohol pairing and tastes, knowing how to make traditional and house cocktails, processing payments, managing inventory, updating prices, and the general cleanliness of the bar. They also handle food orders directly from customers or the service staff and inform customers of any specials

  • Mix and Serve drinks following our Outlet\xe2\x80\x99s set standard recipes
  • Oversee the overall operation of the bar; POS, set up, tear down, mise en place
  • Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the bar, equipment + supplies
  • Uphold complete knowledge of all menu items, liquor brands, beers, wines, coffee, and non-alcoholic selections
  • Provide incoming team members with direction and training to ensure proper operation of the bar and assist them when necessary
  • Be aware of all inventory behind the bar. Count and take inventory of all beverages and supplies on a monthly basis.
  • Ordering of all bar materials & supplies
  • Complete opening, closing, and side-duties efficiently
  • Be available to fill in as needed (service) to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the management team
  • Responsible for accurate reporting of spillage, breakage, and mistakes, this must be recorded on POS or spillage/wastage tracking sheet.
  • Responsible for costing of all beverage items (updated monthly)
  • Source glassware, presentation tools, and supplementary components for management approval
  • Review the beverage program on a quarterly basis and update changes where necessary
  • Provide recipes & executions for 2 new cocktails/non-alcoholic/innovative drinks per month (Build Library)
  • Actively promote and teach our guests and team members about our wine program (monthly tasting & training)
  • Present & update menu diversity and format (large format drinking, bundles, promos) on a monthly basis
  • Take on supplementary classes and workshops to further wine & beverage knowledge (TBD with management)
  • Completing opening and closing duties (e.g. setting up a restaurant, printing out floor plans for the captain, turning on the lights, turning on/off the music, etc)
  • Inspecting side stations to make sure its equipped for service to start, i.e menus, inserts, stationary, printer paper)
  • Assisting in order taking from the guests, keying them into the POS, F&B service, and guest payment
  • Getting feedback from guests and staff in order to ensure satisfaction with both food and service
