Hydraulic Service Engineer (Marine Equipment)

based in

Pioneer

. This is a

permanent, full-time position

with a

5.5-day work week

(Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm; Saturday, 8am-12pm). You'll enjoy a

. This role offers the opportunity to lead maintenance and service operations for

marine hydraulic systems

across vessels, shipyards, and anchorage sites.

What You'll Be Doing

Lead a team in conducting service, maintenance, and repair of hydraulic cranes, winches, davits, and similar marine systems. Perform preventive maintenance to ensure equipment safety, reliability, and efficiency. Diagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic faults, interpret schematic diagrams, and execute necessary repairs. Overhaul and refurbish hydraulic components including pumps, motors, control valves, and cylinders. Install and connect hydraulic hoses, fittings, and related assemblies onboard vessels. Maintain compliance with safety and quality standards during all service activities. Carry out assignments onboard vessels, at shipyards, or at anchorage locations as required. Support additional service-related or operational tasks as directed by management.

What We're Looking For

Diploma in

Mechanical Engineering

or equivalent qualification. Minimum

5 years of experience

in servicing marine hydraulic systems such as cranes, winches, davits, hatch covers, or steering gears. Strong hands-on experience with

hydraulic pumps, motors, and cylinders

. Skilled in reading and interpreting

hydraulic schematic drawings

. Able to perform independent troubleshooting and repair of hydraulic systems onboard ships. Experience in

hydraulic service firms, equipment manufacturers, or OEMs

is an advantage. Willing to work at

anchorage, overseas, or on weekends

when required. Comfortable working in

marine environments
