Thales today employs over 2,100 people in Singapore across all its business areas.Position Summary:Thales AVS in Singapore conducts manufacturing and repair activities for aircraft OEM and airlines respectively.This position is with the AVS repair unit in Singapore, where you will be working on Operations Support activities for the repair unit. The repair unit (ARU, Autonomous Repair Unit) is responsible for avionics, in-flight entertainment and electrical systems maintenance, repair and overhaul activities. In the course of your work, you have the opportunity to participate in the processes relating to different products, such as flight control, communication, navigations, in-flight entertainment, electrical conversion systems, etc. There will be opportunities to learn how the different operational processes in repair, engineering, supply chain, logistics, etc to deliver the required support to airlines, allowing their aircrafts to depart and operate seamlessly, safely and timelyResponsibilities:Design, develop, document and test for process automation with RPA Robotic Programming.Assist (and potentially lead) in trials, pilots and full-scale deployments of projects or initiatives leading to the transformation of operational processes.Support and monitor the RPA operations and communicate with the end users.Find ways to automate, improve the management of RPA operational processes.Opportunities to participate in LEAN/Problem solving activities.Requirements:Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Proficient in Net, SQL, PowerBI, VBA Macros, Perl, Python, or similar programming languages a plusComfortable managing Robotic programming (UiPath Studio and products)Good interpersonal skills, writing and verbal skills.Willingness to learn, able to grasp new ideas, working independently and extending the projects independently.Learning outcomes:At the end of your internship, you will be able to achieve the following:To have the inside (backstage) view how aircrafts are kept flying.Experience working in a complex, multi-faceted MRO business.Opportunity to learn new tools (UiPath, SAP etc.), participate to scrum team.Contribute to the operations management and support to deliver more efficiently.At Thales we provide CAREERS and not only jobs.
