What the role is:The Internal Audit Unit (IAU) in SG Enable (SGE) is responsible for providing independent and objective assurance and consulting services to management. The IAU helps SGE accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes. The IAU\'s main responsibilities include planning and conducting internal audits, and providing advisory services. Internal audits are conducted to assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, compliance with policies and procedures, and the reliability and integrity of financial and operational information. You will assist Assistant Director/IAU by working with the SGE Audit and Risk Committee (ARC) and Management to improve governance, risk management and streamline processes for greater operational effectiveness and efficiency.What you will be working on:Responsibilities: \xe2\x80\xa2 Plan and conduct internal audits according to the approved annual work plan to provide assurance that key controls risks are addressed. \xe2\x80\xa2 Identify root cause and the risk implication of audit observations and work with divisions to identify relevant audit recommendations. \xe2\x80\xa2 Evaluate corporate governance, risk management and control processes. \xe2\x80\xa2 Assist in assurance, consulting engagements and investigations in conformance with ethical and professional standards. \xe2\x80\xa2 Follow-up with divisions to ensure timely closure of recommendations from past audits conducted by internal audit. \xe2\x80\xa2 Assist Assistant Director/IAU in administrative matters for IAU and ARC such as preparing requests for proposal and managing procurement process for IAU\'s outsourced audits. \xe2\x80\xa2 Any other duties as assignedWhat we are looking for:Personal Competencies: - Good working knowledge and understanding of risk assessment, internal controls and adoption of data analytics - Strong analytical skills, resourceful, meticulous - Good communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills and able to interact with management at all level Skills & Knowledge: - Stakeholder Management - Data Management & Analysis - Project Management Experience: - At least 4 years experience in conducting compliance or internal audits - Experience in managing project teamsAbout Ministry Of Social And Family Development:\xe2\x80\x9cWe are Professionals with Passion for People\xe2\x80\x9d The Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF) develops the \xe2\x80\x9cheartware\xe2\x80\x9d for Singapore through our policies, community infrastructure, programmes and services.
