The Global Foreign Exchange (GFX) business is looking to hire a senior risk-manager for Metals in Singapore. That\xe2\x80\x99s why we are committed to providing an environment with your development and wellbeing at its center.You can expect:Flexible benefits plan including virtual doctor consultation servicesComprehensive leave benefitsGender Neutral Parental LeaveFlexible working arrangements25 days of annual paid leave, plus public holiday & Flexible Working ArrangementYour key responsibilities:As a Senior Metals Trader you will be responsible for:Directing and risk-managing the DB Metals portfolios in the Asia time zoneQuoting the bank\xe2\x80\x99s franchise in the region across a wide range of currencies and products, providing competitive pricing for clients in collaboration with traders in other locationsGrowing the Metals franchise in Apac (spot, forward, derivatives)Developing strong physical book and having a strong knowledge base of nuances of the physical marketIdentify and nurture new opportunities and relationships with institutional and corporate clientsWorking closely with sales, structuring and clients to build and expand the Metals franchise with institutional and corporate clientsGenerating and pitching trade ideas and market color for clients, actively seeking business opportunities and broadening the client baseYour skills and experience:To be successful in this role you will have:Minimum 10 years of prior work experience in Metals TradingExperience of pricing and managing Precious Metals Basis, physical and Forward riskKnowledge of base metals trading and LME and CME, approved warehouse exchange storage, exchange warrants issuance, warehouse receipts issuance.A thorough knowledge of the various products traded in the Spot, Forwards and Options Metals marketsStrong understanding of market structure and existing relationships with participants and stakeholders (clients, exchanges, regulators etc) across Asia PacificCommercial focus, ability to take initiatives, and skills to solve complex business problemsAbility to articulate ideas confidently and concisely.Team Player\xe2\x80\x9cRole is required to be performed on-site at One Raffles Quay office.
