Contract Period: 1 May 2023 to 30 April 2024 with an Option to Extend for another year
Working hours:
Mondays to Thursdays: 8:30am to 6:00pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break
Fridays: 8:30am to 5:30pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break
Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays.
Note that working hours may vary at times depending on the school\xe2\x80\x99s needs.
Scope of Services: To support HOD ICT, ICT Manager and staff in the following areas: (a) Curriculum
Develop and deliver ICT modules such as New Media Literacies and Digital Literacies
Prepare Cyber Wellness resources and deliver cohort-based enrichment programmes. (e.g. talks to students, guide teachers on how to facilitate discussion on Cyber Wellness trends through the use of technology)
Prepare resources for students to acquire skills that can build desired tech-enabled learning habits in students
(b) Professional Development
Explore and curate ICT tools and applications for use during teaching and learning (T&L)
Conduct tiered ICT training for different groups of school staff (i.e. Staff, EAS, OSO etc) to learn about new technological tools that can support them in their areas of work. (e.g. teaching and learning, admin & ops)
(c) School Corporate Comms & Publicity
Design publicity materials such as posters or promotional videos
Upload the updated information on School Website and other related platforms
Provide technical and design support for sub-pages on school website
(d) Troubleshooting & Technical/AV Support
Level 1 troubleshooting (e.g. minor technical problems related to PLD, projection etc)
Technical support for School events (e.g. Zoom Session, Live broadcast)
On-site set up, operation, and support of all audio/visual equipment, that include digital projectors, projection screens, flat-panel monitors, Blu-Ray players, lecterns, and half-lecterns, mixing consoles and wireless microphones, amplification capabilities, stereo equipment, outdoor PA capabilities.
On-site live event production including: video/audio capture and recording, multi-camera operation involving pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) cameras, digital video mixing, analog and digital audio console operation, audio amplification, live-streaming services
(e) Other Tasks
Support in administrative tasks involving the use of technology (e.g. Survey creation & administration)
Guide students in their project/coursework, in consultation with teachers, including the teaching of ICT skills.
Record and edit videos of lessons conducted
Qualification, Skill & Experience:
Good interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
Ability to work in teams and troubleshoot issues.
At least a Diploma in Information Technology or equivalent qualifications.
At least 1 year of experience as an ICT/AVA Trainer in Singapore schools.
Relevant prior experience, familiarity in handling machines, equipment and tools that are used in secondary schools.
Relevant prior experience in handling maintenance, servicing and repairs of AV equipment
Proficient in
IOS and Chrome systems
Microsoft Office tools for Education (namely, Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
Google Suite for Education (namely Google Docs, Google Sites and Google Slides).
