For delivering classroom instruction that helps students learn and excel. For developing student\xe2\x80\x99s abilities and interest through creative activities. III. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Functional Subject Knowledge and Methodological Competence \xc2\xb7 Demonstrates the necessary subject knowledge and methodological strategies to effectively educate students. \xc2\xb7 Assists in managing curriculum and study courses for the students\xe2\x80\x99 development. \xc2\xb7 Provides students with structure and support in a safe learning environment to enable them to develop socially, emotionally and morally. \xc2\xb7 Introduces new study patterns among the students to develop their interest and do regular studies. \xc2\xb7 Gives practical analysis of the courses to create interest. \xc2\xb7 Develops the lesson plan in accordance with the curriculum guidelines, and presents the lesson plans to the academic coordinators for approval. \xc2\xb7 Plans lessons based on inquiry, focussed on conceptual understanding, differentiated to meet the needs of all learners and informed by assessment (formative and summative) \xc2\xb7 Reviews the feedback from the academic coordinators and revises the lesson plans accordingly \xc2\xb7 Keeps up to date with the latest teaching aids, such as the use of technology in classroom learning, and integrate these into the teaching process \xc2\xb7 Creates challenging and engaging learning opportunities for students, and fosters a classroom atmosphere that is conducive for learning \xc2\xb7 Develops worksheets, handouts, and other learning materials in line with the lesson plan and curriculum, as well as the assessments and examinations. \xc2\xb7 Responsible for the timely marking and correction of assignments completed by the students Organizational Competence: \xc2\xb7 Creates a well-organized, orderly and task-oriented learning environment. \xc2\xb7 Assesses students\xe2\x80\x99 progress and reports to the principal about them. Conduct assessment tests to evaluate students\xe2\x80\x99 progress \xc2\xb7 Assesses, records and reports on the development, progress and results of students \xc2\xb7 Identifies students who may require additional assistance, academic or non-academic, and ensures they receive the necessary support \xc2\xb7 Contributes to extra-curricular activities and participates in school activities such as assemblies, meetings and conferences \xc2\xb7 Ensures the safety of students at all times Reflection and Development: \xc2\xb7 Reflects regularly on the development of personal and professional capabilities. \xc2\xb7 Communicates the development of students to the Coordinator & Principal. Interaction Focussed on effective teamwork and collaboration \xc2\xb7 Collaborates with other teachers to share new ideas, teaching approaches, content and professional knowledge \xc2\xb7 Communicates and provides feedback to the parents during the Parent Teacher Meetings, and whenever necessary Interpersonal Competence: \xc2\xb7 Creates an atmosphere of trust by dealing with students in a positive and open way. \xc2\xb7 Ensures open communication channel and coordination with parents and others involved in the education and development of the students. \xc2\xb7 Enables students understand their strengths and weaknesses in order to support their learning and personal development. IV. JOB REQUIREMENTS Minimum Qualifications \xc2\xb7 Graduate & Bachelor in Education (Specialisation in Subject for Middle teacher & senior teacher) \xc2\xb7 Preferred Masters in the desired Subject with International Teaching Qualification / Certificate that qualifies for accreditation according to IB educational system OR Cambridge Curriculum. \xc2\xb7 Computer literacy, is required to work on software. \xc2\xb7 Fluent English Level: reading, writing, speaking; a professional command of the English language. \xc2\xb7 Strong technology application skills. \xc2\xb7 Ability to support Blended cum Hybrid Learning. \xc2\xb7 Competent in applying the principles of Digital Pedagogy. Experience \xc2\xb7 3-5 years of Teaching experience JD Computer Science (IT/ICT/CS/DT/DL) \xc2\xb7 Understanding curriculum standards and Principles of Computer Sciences. \xc2\xb7 Creating stimulating lesson plans to foster maximum student\xe2\x80\x99s engagement in Computer Science. \xc2\xb7 Providing opportunities for study and creativity within a global context that will stimulate and challenge students developing the skills necessary for independent and lifelong learning \xc2\xb7 Adjusting teaching practices to support differentiated learning. \xc2\xb7 Enabling students to apply and use a body of knowledge, methods and techniques that characterize Computer Science \xc2\xb7 Developing experimental and investigative scientific skills including the use of current technologies \xc2\xb7 Engendering an awareness of the need for, and the value of, effective collaboration and communication in resolving complex problems \xc2\xb7 Developing logical and critical thinking as well as experimental, investigative and problem-solving skills \xc2\xb7 Developing and applying the students\xe2\x80\x99 information and communication technology skills in the study of computer science to communicate information confidently and effectively \xc2\xb7 Raising awareness of the moral, ethical, social, economic and environmental implications of using science and technology \xc2\xb7 Developing an appreciation of the possibilities and limitations associated with continued developments in IT systems and computer science \xc2\xb7 Encouraging an understanding of the relationships between scientific disciplines and the overarching nature of the scientific method \xc2\xb7 Taking part in the process of mentoring and supervising of the Extended Essay component of the IB for Computer Science and world studies. \xc2\xb7 Willing to teach Computer Science/ ICT/ Digital Literacy across the age and ability ranges from Cambridge Lower Secondary (Grades 6 - 8) through to IGCSE (Grades 9 & 10) and CBSE (6-8) \xc2\xb7 Identifying and teaching study skills that will develop students\' ability to work both independently and collaboratively. \xc2\xb7 Planning activities and worksheets aligned to foster approaches to learning.
