We are currently based at Metropolis, Buona Vista, Singapore.

Responsibilities:

IES COE lead is a global position based in Singapore responsible for managing the ERP (and ECM) Center of Excellence (CoE) functions supporting across Modec\'s organization.

The lead will play a system solution partner role to business functions (Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, Project Control and Operation). He/She will serve as subject matter expert in ERP (and ECM) solution, providing leaderships and CoE supports to business, including standard template governance, requirement management, system operation support, business process support, training/communication, user community, application solution & architect and PMO.

  • Working closely with business users and stakeholders, to grasp business requirements and translate it into solution design, considering global operation & system impact and mitigation approach.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to introduce new enhancements, processes and functionalities.
  • As subject matter expert, carry out continuous improvement activities for the SAP template processes to meet business expectations.
  • Prepare proposal and presentation to stakeholders to communicate ideas and to obtain buy-in.
  • Partner with external vendor to manage L1/L2/L3 application request, supports and maintenance.
  • Working closely with different teams (eg: Basis, Abap, AMS, Infra) to ensure issues and requests are addressed timely.
  • Govern global SAP template by identifying, assessing and mitigating changes with proper planning and execution.
  • Establishing, maintaining and enforcing business processes, standard procedure and template policy.
  • Carry out project rollout governance to ensure all aspect of the projects are aligned and risk being managed.
  • Carry out project planning and management for minor or medium scale projects.
  • Manage user\'s community by building and maintaining good relationship, organizing training and workshops for user training and engagement.
  • Assist head of IES to in planning and co-drive IT strategy, ERP/ECM strategy roadmap and yearly budgeting.
  • Motivate & coach team to achieve higher performance.
Requirements:
  • Degree holder or equivalent with minimum 8 years of lead role experience in SAP CoE and operational support.
  • Minimum 2 full cycles experience and hands-on in SAP implementation.
  • Experience with S/4 HANA implementation/migration (Green/Brownfield) is advantageous.
  • Strong in SAP ECC 6.0 or S4/HANA and Must possess core strength in either one SAP functional module such as FICO, SD, MM, PM, WM or PC or technical area such as ABAP or SAP Basis expertise.
  • Extensive knowledge in one of key processes either FTP, PTP, OTP, Sourcing & Contract processes. Possess strong experience in leveraging SAP or other system/technology in automating or streamlining business process.
  • Experience in managing standard solutions (or template solutions) and rolling out the best practices to new divisions or companies on board to a single SAP instance.
  • Experience in collaborating with global team residing in different geographical location and time zone.
  • Experience in SAP Project management in the capacity of Project Manager role, in medium to large scale SAP implementation, enhancement, migration projects.
  • Experience in managing a mid-sized team (5-8 members).
  • Experience in managing budget, license management, developing technology proposal
  • Candidate must demonstrate strong analytic and problem solving skills, good communication and presentation, and able to work independently under less supervision.
Working Relationships
  • Manage a core CoE team in Singapore (6 direct report) and providing guidance and support to remote CoE team based in Brazil and Houston.
  • Reporting to the head of Global IES.
  • IT-Business partnership with IT stakeholders.
  • Close collaboration with Local and Global IT team.
