Regional Field Trialing COE Lead - APAC

Regional Field Trialing COE Lead - APAC is responsible for leading a cohesive team accountable for best-in-class data management processes, data stewardship, automation, data science and digital solutions to support the APAC Market Development field operations. Direct reports will develop and implement Market Development region's processes, tools, and metric management.

YOUR TASKS AND

• For the APAC region, and within the Global Field Testing COE framework, create best-in-class statistical recommendations on experimental design during the planning stages of field experiments
• Align regionally with Agronomic Systems team, Breeding, Field Solutions, and DFS to determine Market Development data observation points and locations necessary for product characterization and model development including site selection, expected observations, and number of locations (power analysis)
• Support global initiatives within Field Trialing, Field Innovation and Recommend COEs
• Provide clear and understandable validated analysis of trial results to internal customers which drive both strategic decisions, knowledge transfer, and marketing/pricing/sales support
• Provide value added business recommendations and solutions based on innovative predictive analytics to accelerate product development and characterization
• Develop automation, analytics, and data visualization for comprehensive analysis of internal and external data sources that align with key business drivers to provide insights to the business and drive additional value for our customers.
• Apply statistical principles which maximize the predictive power of trial results including sample size, power calculations, trial design, and placement of experiments
• Develop and validate data QA/QC procedures that enhance decision quality

WHO YOU ARE

• M.S. or Ph.D. in the areas of agriculture science, data science or technical discipline
• 7+ years experience in the areas of agriculture science, data/project management, or technical manager
• Demonstrated ability to lead and influence across the organization and across business functions.
• Demonstrated strategic focus and ability to assess and develop field testing or protocols with project management skills highly recommended
• Strong results orientation with the ability to lead a team through change
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in teams and collaborate across functions
• Demonstrated ability to construct a storyline and create presentations to effectively communicate complex concepts and recommendations
• Logical thinker with hypothesis-driven problem-solving orientation
