Who are you?

You have experience in high volume or multi-unit retail business and have strong interest in the home furnishing business and customer service. You have fair commercial acumen, able to relate to customers' needs and advise them on the products available accordingly. You are enthusiastic about working with others in a team

You are cheerful and outgoing, with good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate ideas and follow-up to incoming sales enquiries. Basic computer literacy and ability to support on both Saturday & Sunday & PHs.

How is the job?

Reporting to the Team Leader, you are to support sales maximisation in your business area by leveraging on existing IKEA product range, and tools. Understanding your department's action plans, and supporting the goals and targets set by your manager.

Being passionate about the products you sell and actively learning about their features and benefits. You share the knowledge with customers and colleagues. Supporting customers in advising them on the best solutions for their homes in order to sell more.

You know your top selling products, ensuring their stock availability and at the same time, promote alternative products through effective store space utilization and range presentation to provide inspiration and encourage visitors' purchase in return.

You are responsible in maintaining the business area, ensuring that your areas of responsibility are clean, tidy, correctly priced and fully stocked, and merchandising products are perfect condition and in place at all times.
