Reporting to the Market Safety & Security Manager, you will provide support to the various levels of management in ensuring a safe and secure environment for our customers and co-workers and in protecting our assets and the IKEA brand. You will also maintain an overall risk aware and control culture and compliance with internal IKEA and external legal demands.

Your assignment

• Ensure a safe and secure environment for co-workers and customers through trainings,

audits, inspections and standards and national/local legal demands

• Manage Fire Command Centre daily operations and responses to any emergency situations
• Meet IKEA intended level of safety and security by achieving positive results during Sec Check

and insurance inspection

• Conducting internal and external accident investigations, recommending solutions, quality

reporting of all incidents, follow up and ensure preventive actions are implemented

• Conduct compliance checks and reviews on health, safety and security standards and

document them, ensure actions are implemented and follow up

• To ensure the Store\xe2\x80\x99 Emergency and Crisis Response programs are always capable of

immediate response

• Ensure security guards are trained with the ability to secure IKEA assets with IKEA intended

level of Safety and Security

Qualifications

Your profile

• You have a Fire Safety Manager Certification and strong knowledge in the principles, practices

and techniques of safety and security procedures and all relevant local legislation

• You are analytical with strong problem-solving skill and have knowledge in the fundamentals

of investigation methodology and process

• You are a strong communicator, possessing strong both verbal and written skills
• You have experience in leadership and management of external vendors
• You have strong interpersonal skills and able to work effectively with both internal and

external stakeholders

• You enjoy work in a fast-paced retail environment and manage stressful situations
• Previous experience on safety and security in a retail environment is preferred
• You are committed to work on weekends and PH, AM & PM shift during store operating hours
