About the position:

The Industrial Engineer is responsible for:

Project Management:

• Define requirements of the client\'s current operation, gaps, needs and value add opportunities.
• Support to organising business requirements workshops between Customers teams, Regional teams and Operations / Key Users.
• Analyze and summarize relevant information to support the workshop.
• Define and implement the operational process flow (receiving, put-away, warehouse zoning, replenishment & picking strategy).
• Follow-up IT developments and WMS setup/configuration with the IT and BCM team.
• Coordinate with procurement team for suppliers\' selections and site renovation/installation.
• Follow-up on the management of project: Resources (both operational recruitment and resources allocated to the project), Costs and budget follow-up, Schedule and on-time milestones / delivery, Deliverables.

Warehouse Solutions Design:

• Define requirement of the client\'s current operation, gaps, needs and value add opportunities.
• Data Analysis and Solution Design: Work through and analyses client data to be able to build a solution given a certain set of assumptions.
• Solution costing & proposal: Given the solution design, work out to cost using an array of techniques (Cost plus, Fixed / Variable, Activity Based).
• Proposal: Ability to write up the technical solution aspects of the proposal and support overall proposal writeup.
• Presentation: Present solution in front of executive management teams in a professional and competent manner.

Business Implementation Management: * Develop implementation plan for awarded tenders based on contract requirements and involve all stakeholders.

• Create flowcharts and contact lists that clearly show ownership and escalation paths.
• Identify and support the development of metrics/measurement tools according to the customer\'s requirements and DSV\'s capabilities.
• Coordinate implementation with relevant partner and ensure smooth and proper SOP handover (sign-off) to operational delivery prior business start.
• Provide a handover and closing report at the end of each account implementation project detailing what worked well and what did not, including recommendations for future improvements in the overall process.
• Support post-go live operations as required by the customer.

Subcontractor Management

• Liaise with subcontractors for documentation and setting up for new / expired subcontractors.
• Review with subcontractors in any event of service failure.
• Liaison of quotation for new projects.
• Quotation comparisons/ negotiations before requesting for clearance of quote.
• Working with suppliers for delivery of service / equipment for new projects.
• Sourcing for new suppliers for cost benchmarking and price comparisons.

To be successful in this role you will require the following:

• Fresh graduates welcome.
• Preferable major in Supply Chain Management or Industrial Engineering
• Contract logistics experience an advantage.
• Advance Skills in Microsoft Offices, especially Excel (VBA, Macro, Advance Formulas, etc).
• Knowledges of Six Sigma, 5S, Lean Management or Warehouse management will be a plus.
