Who You Are: We are looking for someone who is interested in Quality functions and is an advocate for Continual Improvements.
Position Summary: Lumileds is seeking a self-motivated person to take on the role of an Industrial Quality Engineer
What You Will Do:

• Understanding of Product Design, Materials and Wafer Fab/Thin Film Flip-Chip process.
• Learn and Apply Quality Principles and Automotive Core Tools (APQP,FMEA, SPC, MSA,PPAP)
• Provide comprehensive daily support to QA Operations (Incoming and Outgoing Inspection) and work closely within/inter-departments on issues related to Detection and Defectivity.
• Manage Tools/Equipment for Calibration, Repair and Maintenance
• Take on Operation Performance Metrics for timely reporting
• Work with various functional teams on Identified Automation opportunities for QA Operations
• Support Total Continuous Process Improvement and Innovation (TCPII) activities for Site

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering (preferably Electronics/Mechanical/Electrical or relevant)
• Team-Player and Effective communication skills are desired
• Understanding Semiconductor and Light-Emitting Diode (LED) device and process is a plus
